WE HAVE EXPERIENCE AND WE HAVE VISION!
We are trained to help diverse groups build consensus and align toward
a common goal for non-profit, for-profit; boards and bosses; hefty budgets
or shoestrings. After helping to create your “roadmap” we
can plan mega events for thousands or cultivation events for a select
few.
We are creative and we understand the marketing mix. We know how to combine
a variety of strategies (special events, pr, and promotion) to make the
impression you want, raise the money you need, or to cultivate the relationships
that you’d like to have.
WE ARE FLEXIBLE!
We can handle almost any event or marketing challenge for you as if we
were a member of your staff, but without the usual employee overhead costs.
We can be available on site each day to troubleshoot and problem solve
as the project or campaign progresses, or we can assume a truly behind-the-scenes
role working from our offices to get the job done.
WE KNOW OUR WAY AROUND! While we know our hometown the Baltimore market best of all, we have
worked for clients in most major US markets as well as key European and
Carribean cities. Travel is no problem for us!
Locally we know "who's who” and “what's what" in
and around town - and for what we don’t know, we have the resources
and partners in place to help. Together we can create a vision, find answers
to your questions, execute your event, make connections, recruit the right
committee members or generate a positive news story.
Mary Sue McCarthy - Principal
Mary Sue McCarthy is a seasoned manager with hands-on experience and an
aptitude for strategic visioning, events planning, and marketing and project
management. Inspired by the realization that clients come to her with
expectations of positive change and growth, Mary Sue named her new endeavor
“Status Grow: Communications Consulting Above and Beyond the Status
Quo.“
After 25 years in public relations and events planning, Mary Sue has become
a firm believer that successful group process involves finding common
ground while honoring individual diversity and dissent. This belief, coupled
with her natural inclination to build alignment, make connections and
help parties work toward a common goal, prompted Mary Sue to become a
facilitator of the strategic visioning process and the transformative
approach to conflict resolution.
A
“perennial student” of strategic visioning facilitation, Mary
Sue received her initial training from Grove Consultants and continues
her professional development as a member of the International Facilitators
Association. She has also completed 80 hours of accredited mediation training
from the transformative approach with Louise Phipps Senft, Founder of
the Baltimore Mediation Center. This training
has improved Mary Sue’s communications skills and taught her to
be a more engaged and active listener. For more information on the BaltimoreMediation
